Services
From initial consultation throughout all stages of your project, we carefully listen to your needs and invite your input to ensure your total satisfaction with the finished product.
At Altus Services, we have designed, built and supplied bespoke hardwood conservatories, orangeries, windows and doors for over 10 years.
Whether standard profiles or a unique bespoke window is required, Altus can meet your demands. All our windows are manufactured using traditional methods in tandem with modern technology. The result of this winning combination is a product which is both beautiful and strong.
It is possible that your project will require some form of local authority approval. Our team are happy to advise with regard to planning matters and routinely consult local authority planning departments, building control officers and architects. Our team can do all of this on your behalf, if you so require.
In general domestic conservatories are exempt under UK building regulations. We have listed below some of the exemptions requirements under building regulations 1991 (as amendments). These criteria must be met for a conservatory to be classified as exempt:
Regardless of whether Full Building Regulations Approval is required, we follow the Best Building Practice Guidelines. Our team will be able to provide you with advice by looking at each project on an individual basis. If your question is urgent or you would prefer to talk to someone, please contact us and we will do our best to be of assistance.
At Altus Services we have a network of local installers and builders to help us complete your project. Over the years we have worked on many projects where the client has used their own builder or worked with either a local architect and/or main contractor — we are happy to work in whichever way suits your individual needs.
If you are a retail customer and would like more information, please contact us and we can give you the name of your local contact.
